Staff Congress Scholarship
Important scholarship information for immediate family of Northern Kentucky University staff members
All Applications for the A.D. Albright Staff Congress, W. Michael Baker Staff Congress, and Staff Congress Scholarships must be submitted through NKU's Office of Financial Aid.
- Applicant for the Staff Congress Award or W. Michael Baker Staff Congress Scholarship must be the son, daughter or spouse of a permanent staff employee of NKU and must be a student in good academic standing. The applicant for the A.D. Albright Scholarship must be the son or daughter of a permanent staff employee of NKU and must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or above.
- A permanent staff employee is as defined in the Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual, Section B 4.2:
- one whose employment is expected to continue beyond one year and
- one whose regular schedule is 20 hours or more each week.
- The scholarship and award will be for one academic year, fall and spring semester.
- The applicant must not have been a prior recipient of either Staff Congress or the A.D. Albright Scholarship.
- The applicant must be a NKU student or must have an "Admission Application" on file with the Admissions Office and be fully admitted to the university.
- The applicant must be an undergraduate student while the scholarship is in force.
- The student must be registered for twelve or more semester hours.
The "Application For Scholarship" form is only available through the Office of Financial Aid.
